Front Desk Officer/Administrative Assistant 

We’re looking for a temporary (6 months) Front Desk Officer/Administrative Assistant as soon as possible.

This person is responsible for the complete administrative support at our headquarters in Ghent.

Main Responsibilities

  • Reception of visitors
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Processing and distributing incoming mails to the correct departments
  • Order office supplies and catering
  • Offer additional support to our HR and Finance department
  • Keep inventory of company property
  • Book reservations for business trips

Skills

  • You have a diploma of secondary education or higher
  • You have a first relevant experience in an administrative position
  • Experience with some ERP systems is a plus
  • Communication is your strong suit, communication with internal and external stakeholders doesn’t scare you off
  • You are a sociable, open and customer-oriented person
  • You are accurate, have an eye for detail and respect predefined deadlines
  • You can handle changing, dynamic situations and prefer variety in your tasks
  • You are an administrative jack-of-all-trades, planning and organization is your second nature
  • You can work autonomously
  • You have a first relevant experience in an administrative position
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English, additional languages are a plus
  • You have strong knowledge of MS Office

Job Location

Our global headquarters is based in Ghent, Belgium. It’s located in the direct neighborhood of the port of Ghent.
